When I was little I would dream of a hallway and behind every door in the hallway there was a memory and one day I was gone into a different land that I created and in that land I created there was something I didn't create though was a little boy. He was glowing and he took me by the hand and showed me the monsters and showed me how to get rid of them. He said to put them behind one of those doors and lock it and I did so the room at the end of the hallway now had a lock with all the monstrates inside. When I grew up in real life I found that little boy
Dreams often serve as a reflection of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In your dream, several key elements stand out that we can explore for deeper meaning.
The Hallway and Doors: Hallways often symbolize transitions or pathways in life, suggesting that you may be navigating different phases or experiences. The doors represent your memories and maybe even aspects of your past, both positive and negative. Each door holds a different memory, which points to a rich inner life and the importance of revisiting your past to understand who you are today.
The Creation of a New Land: Creating your own land indicates a desire for control, imagination, and perhaps escapism. It reflects your creative mind and ability to shape your reality or experiences in a way that makes sense to you.
The Glowing Boy: This character could symbolize your inner child or a part of yourself that embodies innocence, courage, or hope. The glow suggests positivity and purity, indicating that this part of you shines despite darker experiences—or "monsters"—in your life.
Monsters: Monsters in dreams often represent fears, challenges, or unresolved issues. They might be things you’ve experienced or emotions you’ve felt that you need to confront or overcome.
The Act of Locking Them Away: By putting the monsters behind a locked door, you are taking proactive steps toward managing or containing your fears. This indicates a sense of empowerment and a recognition that while these challenges exist, you have the ability to control them and prevent them from affecting your present.
Finding the Little Boy in Real Life: This suggests a recognition or rediscovery of the qualities represented by the little boy (innocence, guidance, courage) as you have grown. It may indicate that you have come to embrace or reconnect with your inner child or that you've found a mentor or influencing figure who embodies these traits in your adult life.
Overall, this dream may reflect personal growth, the importance of confronting fears from your past, and the value of maintaining a connection to your inner child or creative spirit. It emphasizes the journey from childhood innocence to adult understanding, acknowledging both the joys and challenges along the way. It's a powerful reminder that you have the tools to address and manage your fears.
